Umarex Returns to the Shooting Industry Masters

FORT SMITH, Ark (July 21, 2015) – Umarex USA, for a third year, is attending the FMG Shooting Industry Masters being held at Claythorns Lodge in Kansas July 24-25. As a Gold Sponsor and side match host, shooters will have an opportunity to pull the trigger on an Umarex Air Rifle for accuracy in a timed event using Yegua Airgun Field Targets. After last year’s successful debut, Elite Force airsoft rifles and premium BBs from Umarex are being used again in the tactical team event.

Funds raised at the event will directly support the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s First Shots program, which introduces new people to guns and safe shooting practices. “Youth and first-time shooters along with practice and training has always been a focus of Umarex USA,” says Justin Biddle, Director of Marketing. “Air and airsoft guns are many times our first shooting experience. It’s natural to use them for introduction to the shooting sports, training, safety, and practice. They’re fun for all ages.”

The Umarex Steel Storm Rains Loads of Airgun Action

FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS – (January 19, 2010) Airgun manufacturer, Umarex, has engineered a tactical style airgun that creates a storm of steel. The new Umarex gun propels six BBs with a single burst of CO2 gas and when in high velocity single-shot mode the Steel Storm can shoot at 430 feet per second.

A constant barrage of six intermittent projectiles from this semi-automatic airgun sounds like a thunderstorm when the BBs pound against its intended target. Umarex’s VP of Sales and Marketing, Richard Turner said, “Eyes widen with excitement and trigger fingers get antsy when other shooters hear the Steel Storm in action. At under 100 dollars at retail, there’s going to be a lot of “storms” heard this year.”

The Umarex Steel Storm has a reservoir that holds 300 BBs. The BBs then shake down into a 30-round built-in magazine and are propelled out of the muzzle CO2 gas from two 12-gram CO2 capsules that install into the bottom of the grip. This combination means longer shooting before having to re-load. Tactical railing both top- and bottom-side provides mounting options for a laser or point sight.

The Steel Storm’s suggest retail price is $92.50. It measures 15-inches in length, has a 7.5-inch barrel and a weight of 2.75 pounds.

Umarex Introduces the First Speed Loader for BB Pistols

FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS – (January 19, 2010) The leader in airgun innovation, Umarex, recognized the need for a steel BB speed loader and as result has developed one of the most-handy BB gun accessories available.

The Umarex Universal BB Speed Loader makes loading BB pistols fast and simple. The loader holds 250 BBs and comes with four adapters that fit a multitude of drop out magazines from various pistols. Just snap the adapter onto the end of the loader, hold it over the gun’s magazine, and press the button to load the magazine. It can also be used to fill airguns with built-in BB magazines and reservoirs.

“We have several different models that shoot steel BBs, like the Walther PPK/S, which have been on the market for quite some time.” said Adam Blalock, CEO for Umarex USA, “It can quickly become time consuming to load magazines if you do a lot of shooting and our Speed Loader helps you load magazines faster, which results in more trigger time.”

Everyone that owns an Umarex CO2 BB pistol can benefit from the Umarex BB Speed Loader and Justin Biddle, Marketing Manager for Umarex USA stated, “It can also be used to load magazines of non-Umarex BB pistols. Any BB gun with the same type of magazine as an Umarex pistol can be loaded using our Universal Speed Loader.”

The suggested retail price of the Speed Loader is $9.95. It can be used with these Umarex CO2 BB Pistols: Beretta Elite II, Smith & Wesson M&P, HK USP, Walther CP99 Compact, Compact Recon, and PPK/S, and the Makarov.
